Max Cekot Kitchen is the first restaurant in Riga that offers its guests only a tasting menu. All the dishes from our 10-course seasonal menu are designed to include the finest ingredients at their peak from local farmers and our own garden and glasshouses.
At our Riga restaurant, sommelier Uldis Grigalis complements the tasting menu with wine pairing or soft drinks that perfectly match every dish. Having studied at the Court of Master Sommeliers, one of the world's most prestige sommelier schools, Uldis reached the highest level of proficiency in food and wine pairing. “Each time we have a new menu, I face new challenges: how to surprise our guests, which wine to select, and how to serve it best”, says Uldis.
At Max Cekot Kitchen, we work with premium wine brands from both large producers and small wineries. When complementing the original dishes from the chef, our sommelier uses classical wines, as well as experiments with unconventional food and wine combinations.
